The magnificent Snow Leopard is the most enigmatic and elusive of all the world's large cats. A inhabitant of high Himalayan mountain ranges, its presence is more often revealed by footprints in the snow but, as. With the help of local trackers and our guides this tanneries goes in search of Snow Leopards amid the mountains of Hemis National Park in Ladakh. This is a physically demanding trip utilizing basic local housing and camping but the rewards will be the truly spectacular mountain scenery. The real chance of finding this high altitude predator as it follows the resident Bharal, or Blue Sheep, to more accessible lower elevations for the winter months. And mostly spotted near Rumabk village and Ulley village.

Itinerary option 01
Day 01: Arrive Leh and Rest for acclimatization
Day 02: Sightseeing to Pyang and Spituk monastery and nearby Leh town, including a brief visit to Shanti Stupa for a panoramic view of Leh town.
Day 03: Drive to Zingchen and trek to Housing Valley for 3hrs. Setup camp.
Day 04: Whole day in search of Snow leopard Near Hosing Valley. Overnight camp in housing valley.
Day 05: Trek to base of Ganda-la and camp near Yurutse, on the way spot Snow leopard around Yurutse and Nearby Gandala. The area has very high chance of spotting. Overnight in camp or Home stay.
Day 06: Morning hike down to lower base of Rumbak village and enter into Lung-nak valley. This is the valley mostly snow leopard makes his trail to enter the hosing valley in search of prey. Here our team spotted twice. Hike back to Rumbak village and overnight home stay.
Day 07: Rumbak trek back to Zingchen and drive back to Leh
Day 08: Day in Leh
Day 09: Fly back to Delhi.
Itinerary Option-2:
Day 01: Arrive Leh and Rest for acclimatization

Day: 03: Drive to Likir village for (3hrs) visit the monastery of Likir and Drive to Ulley village. Overnight in home stay.
Day 04: Fully day hike to upper ridge of Ulley village to spot Snow leopard.
Day 05: Hike the lower valley till end of ridge. This are has maximum change of spotting, since most of the Ibex make a favorite spot for grazing while lots of snow on the upper ridges. Our team has spotted four times here with some naturalist from Colorado, US.
Day 06: Trek to Hemis Shukpachen overnight stay with a local family and hear mythical and true stories about snow leopard.
Day 07: Drive back to Leh. Ovrnight in Leh.
Day 08: Fly back home
